  • @IbnSheba try this, abortion is murder - of a human life. Matthews isn't known for his intelligence. Killers of babies are ending a human life that's is on a journey, as we ll are on a journey. You will be mentally and physically different when one year old than when your 50.

  • @1seticat

---This comment of yours is in response to which of my points? At very least try to keep your use of terms clear and well presented.

  • @IbnSheba so 50 % who believe killing a human is OK are stupid and uneducated. Remember Germany had many among their population that felt and acted the same way toward the undesirables. Just kill em. Certainly the old trick is to term them as not human. You're keeping good company in history.

  • @SpoonFeedThem. How are Catholics 'nasty pieces of sh*t'? By trying to protect innocent life? Chris Matthews used that tingle up his leg and went completely inappropriate on a person of the cloth.

We aren't pieces of shit because you disagree with us.

  • What a nasty bastard. Catholics are nasty pieces of shit.

  • What about Brazil?

  • @IbnSheba

No it did not and I provided evidence that the Church was against the slave trade. The secular world justified the slave trade specifically the British colonies, followed by the post revolutionary American government which were never under the Catholic Church's influence.

  • @blkequus

---16th century history is not my strength. However, the Church --not the secular world-- justifyed the Atlantic Slave Trade in terms of the divide between Christain/ non-Christain.

  • @IbnSheba

Do you mean Asiento? Because that was a trading agreement issued by the Spanish Government not the Catholic Church.

  • @IbnSheba

Under Catholic Papal pressure Spain abolished slavery in 1683. The Atlantic Slave Trade was run by good New England protestants who didn't care what the Pope said.
