Kai was the only reason I couldn't stop watching this show. The tortured hero archetype was done in an very compelling way.

@jackie62 well, as soon as the killed the Gigashadow you kind of knew it was coming, since it was the thing that created the proto blood. 4th season was my least favorite.

I hated the ending... it wouldn't have been so bad if Kai had got his life back half way through the ep or something, but right there at the end...sigh..... Loved this series and all it's character's.... just used to wish that Kai had more proto blood as he spent way to long in that freeze chamber during the first 2 (best) series....... I liked 3 too of course but I was soo sooo sooo dissapointed when the 4th was set on Earth...

Yeah, sad as it was, this was a hugely satisfying finale to an epic sci fi series. Kai's kiss with Xev is perhaps the single best moment in the entire series for true Lexx fans--and the rebirth of the Lexx was a terrific and endearing coda to everything that went before. Yo Way Yo, indeed!

:: Pouts :: Yes the ending was sad for those of us who had our hopes for Kai and Zev, but still the ending was good none the less...It would be great if they did a continuation, but i think it would be difficult to pick up for that ending..just saying.
