its really disappointing iv been waiting for years and years for a realistic car racing game to come up with at least a REAL BURN OUT!! WERE IS THE GOD DAMN SMOKE?! not GT5 NOR Forza producers thought of that... why? tell me please.. why? :'(

@bus3eed100 My friend, if you think tire smoke is what makes a game realistic... I think you're not looking for a sim. And to answer your question to why games don't have realistic volumes of smoke is because... well, you wouldn't understand the processing power needed to render that amount of particles would you? You just want smoke in a game that's all. Us the others are looking for realistic tire modeling, realtime body motion and full suspension tweaking, you stick with NFS ProStreet Ok?

@PAVONEZORZ yeah, but their rendering of the actual car's physics, (in terms of realistic handling, engines, tire modeling etc), is absolute garbage. eye-candy isn't the ONLY thing that strains a system smartguy..

GRID and NFS Pro Street both render tire smoke just fine- pretty much making your argument about processing power completely moot.

@bus3eed100 smoke builds up alot of lag and your consoles can't handle it. Move on to computer sims where the smoke builds up.

In GT3 you can do a proper standstill burnout, and you can almost do one in GT4. are you supposed to set the brake balance all the way to the front?

@bus3eed100 this was the prologue. The real gt5 has alot better smoke, i was playin it yesterday. I woulda been really dissapointed too if the smoke sucked in the real thing.

@bus3eed100 well, you posted this comment i am replying to 10 months ago. Gran Turismo 5 is out, not the prologue, but the FULL ON GRAN TURISMO 5!! and i saw the burnout on the videos of the new gt5, AND IT HAS REALISTIC BURNOUT SMOKE!

LOL he wrote that before gt5 came out, the smoke is much improved from what you see in this video. But yeah..I agree too the old smoke was crap
