LYRICS:
There is a land of pure delight,
Where saints immortal reign,
The endless day excludes the night,
And pleasures banish pain,
And pleasures banish pain.

There everlasting spring abides,
And never fading flowers:
Death, like a narrow sea, divides
This heav'nly land from ours,
This heav'nly land from ours.

Could we but climb where Moses stood,
And view the landscape o'er,
Not Jordan's banks, nor death's cold flood,
Should fright us from the shore,
Should fright us from the shore.

  • this is such a lovely song! I'm not sure why but though your instruments seem to be in time with what I am hearing your lips are not moving at the same time as the singing I hear (in other words -- it's like when a movie soundtrack is "off"...

  • This is so very pretty! Y'all should definitely do more songs! Blessings and peace in Christ
