no 3d glasses here, but in gimp i've been able to separate the two images and do some sorts of cross-eye 3d . it worked, and it was cr**.

When you move your hand/phone closer to the cam there's waaaay too much ghosting/double. When you move it closer to your face the depht is amazing!
-
i suppose you need 3d glasses to view the other person in 3d right?
-
my install-cd is not working but i can make videos in 2d

Adjust your monitor, the only fail here is you the user. If you do not know how to adjust a monitor properly then use a Spyder Express or the like to do it for you.

hey, ive got the webcam i just want to know can i still make videos in 2d with it, and does it have its own microphone, please respond, thanks

Yes, you can still make 2D videos with it. One of the "eyes" shuts off and you're good to go for making 2D videos. Yes, it does have its own microphone. I think.

Oh wow, nvm, that was far too obvious, you are using the Minoru (lol). The Minoru is a bit expensive though and can you use it to record films outside, or just plugged into your computer? And again, how do you suggest that the average person views your videos in 3D (I have a pair of glasses but most people don't).

The Minoru is going for $89.95 at Amazon: not cheap but not too expensive for what it is. Outside filming: you'll need to connect it to a laptop, but I'm not sure how well it will work since there needs to be some positional calibration. Yup, 3D glasses, he blue/red kind, will be needed to experience the 3D effects of these videos. Thanks for your comment!

Hey, Jin, is it? I like your videos, nice and informative! Like you, I am very VERY interested in 3D!! For the longest time now, I have wanted to try to create a film for YouTube in 3D. I know of a few ways (like with two cameras and such) but they are really expensive and tricky. If you don't mind, how do you record your 3D videos? Thanks! Oh, and how do you suggest that the average person views your videos in 3D (I have a pair of glasses but most people don't).

Yes, Jin is correct. :-) Thanks for the feedback. 3D is very interesting.
