When I went to that area, their were TWO dragons around. Also, you can find a new dragon shout near the area where you killed the dragon; you apparently missed it.

Loving the series dude, If you go where the dragon symbol is on the map where you killed that dragon there should be a new shout you can get, just in case you didnt know.
