In Louisiana, we know Sonny like we know Kermit, Shorty, Twelve, the Doctor, Wynton, Camille, Uncle Lionel, - such a treat to know all the great musicians down here like they're family.

Sonny is in a guitar class like Booker or Fess was on piano - his playing always leaves me gasping for air.

Thanks for the response and invite. I have checked it out, and it's like a candy store for a sugar addict. Thanks! Mr. Landreth has firmly sunk his talons into me, and as I discover new performances, I just shake my head with his talents and innovations. I love the venues all these clips are shot from...all country festivals or small clubs and bars...after all the recognition/awards/accolades he continues to perform for the "folks" in these small intimate venues. CLASS!!

It is amazing. I have meet the music of Sonny Landreth, can listening and watch to great gitarist, nice voice because he is not pushing.....

...and I think with see video with Landreth music an swan: For the childeren, nice this way to meet this music........GREAT.

I heard that Sonny's next album is supposed to be all instrumental and very acoustic - kind of a "Sonny Unplugged". His genius is at a level that he can do whatever he wants on the guitar and I'm happy.
