General Hospital - 1986 Sean and Monica's Affair Part 81

Part 81. May 1986 Sean breaks the news to Alan and Jimmy Lee that the medical ship has been sunk by terrorists. They don't believe him so Jimmy Lee calls Grant to confirm the disaster. Grant confirms it for Jimmy Lee. Sean is sure the insurance company won't pay up because they'll consider it an act of war. Alan can't believe this is happening to him. Alan and Jimmy Lee go to the pub to have a drink together. They talk almost like brothers. Alan wonders what it would have been like to grow up with Jimmy Lee. Alan makes a cryptic comment that he wishes somebody would kill him so his troubles would be over (ahhh...he's already thinking ahead!) Meanwhile, Lila and Stella have gone househunting in a hurricane which worries Edward and Monica. Edward plays on Monica's "guilt". He asks Monica for a loan (he has no shame!) but Monica refuses to become involved financially with Edward again. Edward tells her she was never at true Quartermaine. Edward makes some pretty ridiculous statements about women only think about love and romance while men know that money makes the world go round. (Oh boy....) Edward and Monica chirp at each other about Lila. Lila and Stella arrive home soaked and Lila is angry. Sean calls Monica and asks to see her right away.
