Great playing for sure, but "too fast?" That is a matter of opinion, and one usually expressed by piano players that can't play very fast.

You could be right, but Scott Joplin himself is quoted as saying, "It is never right to play ragtime fast." If you're looking for authenticity, I think it pays to pay attention to the King of Ragtime, don't you?

to be nit-picky, I spotted some tempo issues, but really, the whole performance is superb, especially the trio variation, with the nice execution of those triplets... that's tough to play this so cleanly!
