This is taken from their 3rd series with the BBC from 1970. It's the build up to Ernie's version of Frankenstein, and he introduces Ian who will be playing the Baron.

Eric is on great form here

  • I met Ian at his house near Gromont for lunch a few years ago, when he agreed to help me with the book I was writing on the village where he was brought up Elloughton Near Hull. He took a great interest in what I was doing agreeing to write the Foreword for my book .

Leaving after 4 hours he gave me a big hug and wouldn't let go for ages. Lovely man will be sadly missed by many.

  • Eric, Ernie and now Ian are gone. I miss them all :'(
