The Romans called the Clyde 'Clota'. When they arrived they would have found Crannog structures around it's shores.

  • Cool video, just discovered your stuff on youtube and its all great, but this one does leave me wondering why the Roman is paying so much attention to the crannog when there are strange square buildings in the background, a lighthouse and even a road with strange metal chariots moving along it very fast. LOL

  • The Galbraiths of Strathclyde had their castle on a crannog in Loch Lommond, Elan na Gal, known as Inch Galbraith.
