Sorry, for whoever said the Vette jumped the count, it's obvious he didn't. I've owned a Vette, but have never raced a Viper. What I can say is this. All tv programs and magazines are close, but Vette always wins. And I have seen (on video) that Vette is a MUCH better and faster track car - which is what it was bullt for...not even drag - where it still contends with, if doesn't beet, the Viper....

even then, a viper costs over 80,000. a ZO6 costs less than 70,000. and the ZO6 will still win.

yeah I have seen the 1700 HP turbo'd viper - but your ten cylinder statement is pointless - the ZO6 is lighter - is dynoing at over 450 - stock - the viper dynos at around 425-430 stock - the ZO6 comes stock with a bigger rear end again its much lighter - the viper is a great car - but running both stock the zo6 will beat it 10 out 10 runs.
