This is a Superplay from the bonus DVD that came with Oretachi Geasen Zoku Sono: Karate Michi for the Playstation 2. This is one of the pioneers of the Vs. Fighting genre. This video shows one of many ways to outsmart the cpu opponents.

Note: The PS2 release of this game sadly lacks the 2 player versus mode from one of the later Arcade revisions. Keep that in mind if you are thinking about picking it up.

  • that's the only bad part, for some reason it only has one game on it. they give you a soundtrack and some other stuff, but they really should have made it a collection. Data East has some awesome games.

  • well... I think completely the opposite. I wish companies start developing 2D games like in the old times. Most of the old 2D games are still much more fun that nowadays games.

  • This was DECO's largest objection against Capcom in court about Fighter's History (1993 arcade).

  • The most balanced fighting game of all time.

  • This game is hard

  • whats the ding and whats the trick to the bull

also was this the JPN version cause I found this

The Japanese version used Japanese voices and had a different storyline: you would fight your way through tournaments at various levels and finally end up at the nationals. The bonus stages were also different: kicking a vase, kicking apples out of another man's hands and off his head and jumping up and kicking a tall post.

  • two backflips and then a crowching punch. pretty easy.

  • to make it easier just backflip twice and start throwing a crowching punch as soon as you hit the ground.

  • didnt even think about that, thanks.

  • i use it!

just have mame and a ps2 controller along with a usb to ps2 adapter!

there u can play karate champ with dual shock controller(2 joystick!! wowooooooo)

  • That ox (bull, cow or whatever) later appeared in Fighter's History Dynamite, also by Data East.
