Engine has been slightly modified:

- Belt driven cooling fan.
- New piston and polished liner, the old one did not seal very well. Now it's 100% sealed
- New base-plate out of 5 mm steel
- New exhaust Pipe

Still running on model engine fuel (methanol/oil mixture), that's why it smokes so much.
Going to change to standard gasoline as soon as the new piston is well broken in.

  • yeah i wanna know if can rev it too. Also she looks like its blowing a bit of blue smoke? Becouse on a four stroke blue smoke = oil.

  • Here it is already running near its maximum RPM, it will go much slower though, see my other videos!

This video was taken during break in where a methanol/oil mixture was used. That's why there is some blue smoke visible. You don't see this smoke in my other video where it is running on pure gasoline.

  • @Alexgrosy

How is it possible that it has 1 rocker?? other 4 stroke does have 2 rockers?? wuts that about??

  • The intake valve is atmospheric. the vacuum created in the cylinder when the piston moves down pulls it open. no rocker is needed here! Only the exhaust valve has a rocker!

Spark does not need to be changed when the engine is running, it set to about 5° before tdc. It has no governor, speed is manually controlled with the carburator.

  • nice work but how did or what mixes the fule and air???

  • there is a small carb that mixes fuel and air. It's the round brass body at the cylinder head.

  • Schon eine tolle sache! Aber woher hast du den Vergaser? Oder gibt es andere Möglichkeiten, um einen Kraftstoff-Luftgemisch herzustellen?

  • Heh, you need a better camera...the rod is looking like a ps2 game with motion blur.
