It still exists. I attended the Pine Knot Job Corps which was also known as the Pine Knot Civilian Conservation Corps back in 1999. It is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We had fire teams that fought forest fires as well as trade classes to help those ages 17 to 24 get jobs. It is an excellent program that doesn't get any publicity anymore.

It's awesome that such footage has been preserved! It would be awesome if our nation would bring this program back. Our national Parks and Forests are in a horrible state of disrepair. They have lost funding to make repairs, let alone to stay operational. Some of the most amazing buildings and monuments are falling apart, and our nation is doing nothing to preserve them. I say we bring back the CCC and the WPA! It's high time we restore our nation, bring back our work force! MADE IN USA!
