I had the privilege of participating in Albania's Project AERO in summer, 2003. I produced this documentary then. Albania is poor, by European standards, but it's people are rich in hope, hospitality, imagination and more and more, in their appreciation of spiritual things. May God bless the people of Albania

  • thank you 4 the job you ve done in albania but this video now in 2007 it makes to look albania much poorer than it is... :/

  • Thanks for your comment. Keep in mind that AERO was a "rural" outreach. Certainly Tirana and much of Albania is much more modern. Also, I only posted this as an example of one of my favorite productions.

  • Thank you, guys, for your good job in Albania. But I think that it's time now all foreigners went home and leave Albanians to Christ alone. It's His job to build His Church in Albania and express Himself in an albanian way, NATIVE to Albanian and not imported or imposed from outside. In HIM

  • I understand your sentiment completely! But in Jesus, there are no borders. There is no "we/they" in Christ. Besides, I have so many friends in Albania now!!! I have to go back to this beautiful place! :)

  • I am refering to a truth most of us have forgotten. See how Paul planted the churches, how he left them and visited them once in a while.

If there is no "we/they", then why are christians divided?

We are one in Him, but we have different cultures. I was watching a Sunday morning service (totally foreign to Albanians)and realised that it was something imposed.

I recognize the good job missionaries did, but they have to leave them in HIM. In the LORD :)

  • Well, you should be encouraged! Project AERO is not longer happening. And the organization that started it is almost completely made up of Albanians who decide everything. We call this "indiginization." When I visit Albania, it is only to praise God with them. I will keep visting as long as I have friends there and I will not be divided from them. They visit me too! And I love it!

  • @sandip730, sorry, we gave no food to anyone! We were INVITED to show a film. The Albanian government enthusiastically gave us permission to visit these villages. We didn't visit Albania because it was poor, but because during true exploitation during the communist era, they were denied information--in this case, about Christianity, which first came to Albania in the first century AD. If someone "converts," they do so by their choice. NO ONE is coerced or exploited whatsoever. That WOULD be sad.

  • Albanias ARE amazing:L

Alliteration; Which is TRUE it's FACT so get that right:] x

  • Don't be MEAN,
