In response to the incredible ignorance surrounding the nature of socialism, I have begun a series of videos to explain Socialism's meaning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ www.gatt.org/trastat_e.html
@subscribefori And social "democracy" is just a preform of communism in desperate times. The choice you get in this democracy is either going to jail for not paying taxes, or work for someone who is to lazy to.
@Freez57fr social democracy is a fancy word for taking my money and giving it to others, who did not earn it nor deserve it. Our citizens are ingorant, but that has only appeared in this past 20 years. Say, no wonderstupid Americans elected 'Social democrat' Obama. See where our country is? See how Scandinavian countries are STILL doing worse than us economically, after Obama? The second America fell was when 'social democracy' was implemented, along with government bailouts.
I understand why the Americans have this complex of superiority. They feel superior because they compare their country with Cuba and North Korea...
Just compare your country with social democrat countries like Scandinavian countries, Netherlands, France, Germany, etc...
The problem of the Americans is ignorance due to their media and video like that. They have a problem of vocabulary and are totally unable to make the difference between marxism/communism and social democracy...
Although I'm far from being a millionaire, I still prefer capitalism. Socialism forces one to work w/ others, & to meet a specific quota. Capitalism is (primarily) about allowing one to bring ideas to fruition & to acquire ambition to live out their dreams. W/o capitalism, life would certainly be monotone (IMO).
@ThePhalseProfit And believing in a mixed economy (elements of socialism and capitalism) is no more a religion than believing in capitalism alone. Most, if not all, of the countries I listed also have a better score in the global gender gap. So some of them are richer, healthier, happier, and have more equality. If these things don't matter into quality of life, then I don't know what does.
Capitalism isn't the same as Free Enterprise. Capitalists are parasites.

Capitalism favours capital. Socialism favours labour. I stand with the many and not for the few.

@ThDiJe Well, I favor low taxes, and a flat tax, most poor people would have an easier time paying taxes, than now.
