  • Wait, you sew the closure piece down first and then the wefts?

  • @queenbluebee I don't sew the closure on until the second video. I pinned it in pt 1 to make sure that my placement was correct.

  • @omega7373

Thank you for the clarification. BTW, how far apart do you space your weft from each other? Is an inch between each weft to far apart?

  • @queenbluebee It depends on what type of wig I am making and what hair I am using. I wouldn't space more than an inch generally speaking.

  • lmao hope you dont use the pins as the end result tht would hurt LMAO XD...

btw ill be making a middle aged costume i have gotten the clothing all i need is the wig would a medium blackish wig do or somthing different please reply

  • Hey...I would suggest that you go to hairsisters website and look at the Anytime synthetic wig (Michelle or Trinity).

  • yes...I sew around. The needle tends to get stuck when I try to sew through the weft.

  • 1 more thing, do you sew around the weft line instead of going through it?

  • I would suggest you looking at the "wig making request video" b/c it gives a really close up shot of what I am doing. I the needle is also very sharp so it goes through the cap with ease. I don't suggest trying to put the needle through the actual weft as it may be stuck. Hope this helps.

  • this is a dumb question...how do yo sew the wefts onto the cap?
