French 'Spiderman' arrested in Moscow - VOA Story

A man known as the "French Spiderman" has been detained by authorities after he climbed the outside of a Moscow skyscraper.

Police say they detained Alain Robert briefly after he finished a bare-handed climb to the top of Moscow's Federation Tower (the tallest in Europe), which is 242 meters high.

Russia's Itar-Tass news agency says Robert will be charged with breaching safety rules in an area under construction.

This is not Robert's first brush with the law. He has climbed the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Empire State Building in New York, and many other buildings, often without permission.

What can they arrest him for? Trespassing? It is stupid. All he is doing is climbing a building. At least he isn't selling drugs or robbing somebody. He is freaking awesome though climbing those buildings
