Rep. Steve Dreihaus of Cincinnati discusses his reasons for backing a health care reform bill to be approved March 21 by the U.S. house of Representatives. Although Driehaus initially worried language in the bill might allow taxpayer funded abortions, his concerns were assuaged by President Obama's agreement to sign an executive order that stipulates the bill won't result in federal funding for abortions.

Executive orders are separate from the legistlation. They only last as long as the EXECUTIVE is in office. The next president we get could overturn it in a heartbeat w/o anyone's say.
