hi great playing! quick question. i was thinking about purchasing this amp. its the 200 watt kustom. it is a two prong power chord and ive noticed it gets a little annoyingly noisey. i play a gibson eb-2 bass. and was just wondering do you think this would be good for late sixties early seventies blues rock. ala Led zeppelin cream mountain? thanks

@srvledoux9 I would say it is a good amp for any sixties early 70's sound, but for zeppelin... Acoustic 360 :-) Mountain sound go with a sunn rig, 200s or 2000s :-D

That acoustic 360 blows the doors off the old kuston amp. I had 3 - kustom B 200 early 70's heads with matching double 15 cabs, and all three were very noisy!!! they all had those cheap CTS Speakers that distorted because they can't handle low end bass at high volume!!!. they look cool but i say go with a ampeg, or acoustic before a kustom amp any day..

I would have to say the CTS speakers were the basic run of the mill line and they were not all tat great, but I own many kustom amps and I think there are amazing to play through. Lots of my bass amps have altec of JBL's in the speaker cabinets. They can handle great lows. Whats great about being a musician you have a lot of gear to choose from, and that's great because everyone's different and likes different sounds! Thanks for your post, I love kustom amps along with acoustic fender sunn!

Yes that is an acoustic 360/361 rig, that amp vs the kustom are two different sounds really, the Acoustic is superior, 200w amp twice as loud and the design is better, the kustom rig came with a sro 18, i think it should have come with CTS but now has a Cerwin Vega 18, makes a huge difference. Both rigs are cool.
