The Tang commercial is from 1966.

Again, the star of the show often did an "integrated" commercial for the sponsor's product during the episode. In this case, it's Richard Webb, who starred as "CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT" for Ovaltine on CBS' Saturday morning schedule (1954-'56). This spot is also an enticement, like the original radio series in the '40s, to join Captain Midnight's "Secret Squardron" (with free decoder) in the fall of 1954.

The Golden Fluffo ad is from 1955, when Mike Wallace was appearing on panel shows, doing commercials, and starting "NIGHTBEAT" on New York's WABD [now WNYW]. Procter & Gamble, however, didn't tell you Jean Villard was "impersonating" Mrs. Thelma Styra {probably because the real Mrs. Styra wasn't "photogenic" enough for the commercial}. Stan Sawyer is "The Voice of Nabisco" in the 1958 Swiss Creme Sandwich spot. Dennis James was Old Gold's spokesman in the early '50s [his ad is from 1952]...

Kellogg's sponsored "THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN" during its original 1952-'58 syndicated run. As was the custom, the stars of the show usually delivered an "integrated" commercial for their sponsor's proeduct at the end of the episode. This one, for Kellogg's Sugar Smacks, was originally seen in late 1953. The Buster Keaton Alka-Seltzer ad (one of a series) was originally seen in the fall of 1958....

@jenisacutiepie lol, I meant around my house! My mom never bought things like that. My bad :)
-
@XxTranenHexexX How old ARE you? Ovaltine has been around for quite some time.

I would laugh if speedy showed up with a tech 9!

This is when America was a happy place to be.
The guy in that Ovaltine ad says something about Ovaltine helping you be a leader in your gang. I just have this hilarious image of Crips and Bloods or members of the Latin Kings sitting around drinking Ovaltine. Or "made men" in the mob smoking DiNobili cigars and reminiscing about hits they pulled while drinking Ovaltine. ("Hey Sammy, remember when you whacked that guy from Philly with a shovel and his brains squirted outta his head? Pass me some more f***in' Ovaltine, will yas?")
