perhaps when compared to that song... but have u listened to his other songs? i mean i'm not going to say she can't play; she can. but jason mraz has skills. i'm yours is just the most known one, not his only one.
lol yea its a shame thats the only song ppl think of when they hear mraz.... watch mraz play Song for a Friend live, thats an insane melody to keep going whilst singing.
idk dude jason mraz is pretty sick in terms of solo-ing tristan's rhythm part is pretty simple, but i think one would have to know their way around a guitar fairly well outside of the 4-chord song to play/solo like jason mraz
i completley agree with u on the fact that jason mraz's solo-ing is sick and all around he is a dam good guitarist. it's just that the person i was referring my comment to had said that tristons rythym playing was superior to jason mraz's and that this is not an easy song to play implying that wat triston is playing is difficult when in reality both of those implications are no were near true.
... that's the beauty of it, alone playing this melody DS many will agree it is not SO complex, BUT keeping in beat with the person you're playing in addition to singing a completely different melody is what makes this song so elegant.
