Sad indeed my dear jethro. I fear all is lost. That dialogue sort of came from NCIS (Ducky to Gibbs whose first name of choice is Jethro). But seriously you weren't kidding when you said WUAB changed ownership a lot. That's all TV stations are these days, corporate sellouts. Ch 43 is certainly not exempt from that. One thing for sure Supe got out when he could. He did what Cronkite did at CBS. Just walked away when things got to be too much for him. He wouldn't want to be at WUAB today.

Does Sullivan have an autobio book (that tells his experience as Supe & being on WUAB) yet? If so where can I get it? I'd love to have it. This guy was the coolest thing on Cleveland local TV (alongside Ghoul & Froggy).

Nobody could laugh as good as Supe. What year was this? Got any vids of this guy from the late 70s or early 80s? My fave Supe skit is the one titled "Born Loser" which I noticed is missing from your array of clips. How come you dont got that one yet?

WUAB needs to dump crap like "Friends", "That 70s Show" & "Malcolm In The Middle" & replace em w/a "Very Best of Supe" show. There'd be no WUAB if not for Supe. It sickens me that this station has done nothing to honor this guy & all he gave to Chan 43. Get rid of all that filler junk. Leave "Friends" et al to some other station. I vote for a "Very Best of Supe" DVD package available at the WUAB home page.

I agree; Unfortunately WUAB has been taken over so many times they probably don't even know who Supe is or what he did.
Very sad....
