I thought the sound quality let it dwon, these sound fantastic in a live situation, plus as someeon said, the Les Paul was out of tune!

@theinck Buy a vintage Super Reverb, Vibrolux, or Bassman...not hard. Easy buys for some of those.

I have owned a blackface 65 deluxe reverb, and the clean tones were lot's better than this amp, and it also broke up at around 5, and it did so very well, the silverface ones were cleaner, but the blackface amps broke up in the most perfect way, that lovely harsh breakup all these amp companys try to perfect, the thing is, if U want it, go out and buy the real thing, U could buy a blackface Dr for the same price as this amp, and it goes up in value not down

Ok sure, the LP was a bit out of tune, but it doesn't matter. This is a great review; it shows the amp's qualities, and also the reviewer was very honest about some possible design flaws(tube rattle). Great review, 2 thumbs up!
