i shot this,in the spring of 2007 in Quebec city,Canada.The name of the song is "La Guaneña".Thank you to tyrophonic for the info!!

Rythm is called Bambuco and its not ecuadorian because their andean rythm is called Sanjuanito and their genre is totally different from bambuco !!! check in youtube videos for ecuadorian sanjuanito and colombian sanjuanito.   • @alephxv but probably not directly from african influence, Several Spanish rhythms contains the western african beat and probably the fusion of andean rhythms and andalusian rhythms originates this specific rhythm. Is it latino?.... Well....... I can recommend you this radio show. It's called Alt Latino and it's produced by NPR, USA.

  • @Sayritupaq. The definition of latin music is obscure. It's assumed that latin music contains the rhythm of Western Africa, but....................... Blues, jazz and rock contains western african influence too. One of the versions of this song, assumed the original one, contains western african influence. Genealogically this song and others are considered the origen of a colombian rhythm called bambuco and the beat of the Western African influence is notorious,

Biologia (DNA) mas las cronicas espanholas de una nacion al norte del imperio, que hablaban una lengua distinta al quechua a la llegada de los espanholes apoyan la separacion. El yage y los tambos son circumstanciales. Bajo el imperio Inca los pueblos conquistados eran transladados a distintas regiones del imperio para evitar futuras sublevaciones. Y los tambos solo representan relacion comercial mas no dominio del territorio.
