Hope for Housekeepers: Grand Hyatt San Francisco

Over 400 Local 2 members and non-union Hyatt workers from across the Bay Area and Boston rallied in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco. Workers and their supporters unveiled the massive Hope for Housekeepers quilt, constructed by dozens of Housekeepers across the country. Workers talked about their working conditions in non-union Hyatt hotels and recently outsourced housekeepers from Boston spoke about their struggle with the Hyatt Corporation after their jobs were replaced by a subcontracting company.
