This is a spoof I made of the famous 20th Century Fox movie studio logo. The name "Buster" in the title is derived from our beloved family dog. When making this and my other movie studio logo spoofs, I decided to use him as the spoofed studio name.

PRODUCTION NOTES: As you'll see, I added a little "starter" sequence to the animation, before it gets to the well-known usual starting point of the logo. I modeled the set to be as close to the original 20th Century Fox set as possible. But, instead of using the yellowish-golden color throughout the entire set (as it is in Fox's version), I chose to use a black marble texture with some metallic elements for most of it. This would help to make the main title stand out even more. Now that we're in the 21st century, I updated the logo to show that, as well.

It takes about 6 to 8 different software applications to create each of my animation videos. Each application has its own specialized function (3D modeling, 3D animation, texture creation, photo manipulation, particle effects, motion tracking, multi-track audio editing and sweetening, compositing, final editing, and video conversion / compression).

DISCLAIMER: 21st Century Buster Cinema is NOT an actual studio. This video was produced for educational purposes in the study of 3D animation, compositing, and special effects.

  • Great job. Very good taste. Congrats. If you could tell the softwares you used, it would be hepful. Thanks.

  • @OdairFernandes THANKS MUCH!!! I use many different applications to get to the final product. For the 3D modeling and animation aspects, which I'm assuming is what you really want to know, I used Kinemac and Carrara Pro for this video. I also use a sundry of other software for editing, special effects, texture creation, color treatment, audio, and compression.

  • who do you do that?

  • @1bernabe1 Please refer to the video description text for general information on how this was made.

  • Awsome!

  • I expected the spot lights to cut throught the sign as if they were lasers XD

  • can anyone tell me where to get this song from????

  • thx, i already found the template and my computer is running since hours. takes probably 24 hours til it is finished.

    thx again

  • I made this animation myself . . . not from someone else's template. My creation is not available for public use. However, there is a Fox logo template made for use in the free 3D program called Blender. Do a search for Blender 3D Fox Logo to find that template, which you can customize to your specifications!

  • how can I get this pre-made Fox animation? can i use another name ?
