@NateTheG0v Its been there since the filming of rocky III in 1982 , again its WAY PAST TIME to get a statue of Joe Frazier to REPLACE the one of a fictious movie character ,especially since the rocky movie used some of Frazier`s training methods !!

@7980COOL1 is that rocky statue really there? wasnt it just for the movie?

I never got to see him fight. But I know he's a legend nonetheless. R.I.P Joe Frazier, sad that he is now gone...
-
@bogglerful I will make it myself even tho i do not know the man...

REST IN PIECE JOE FRAZIER YOU WERE THE BEST!!!

@7980COOL1 Yes, I agree. Though I'm not from Philly, I would much rather see a Frazier statue when I hit Philly rather than some looney Rocky statue.

goodnight Joe thanks for all those times..a real good man we have lost.

muhhamid ali atteneded it to thats true respect
It's time for a statue of Smokin' Joe Frazier in Philadelphia. Do the right thing, Philadelphia. Honor your true champion, a real person, not a movie character.

The REALLY sad part of his passing is that in his ADOPTIVE town of Philly, there is STILL no statue of him instead, there is one of a fictious movie character rocky. Whether it was racial or not, it is high time that Philadelphia to erect a statue of him ( just like what detroit has for Joe Louis ) and tear down or remove that rocky statue and put Joe Frazier in its rightfull place especially since Stallone copied the scene of punching meat in the frezzer that IS what Joe did when he started !
