The dope smoking going on behind the band...Classic. This is the real deal.

Opened for these guys in 1970 at a high school in Westwood Ma. They were on the first Zepplin arena tour. They were loud and great.

"Brothers and Sisters, I wanna testify...." **Sigh**, our neighbors when 1st we married. Purple houses side-by-side just up Hill Street - really ratty yard. Still remember them doing The Motor City's Burnin, THAT is a great tune of its time. Those Marshalls behind? Don't ever set them up in a low-ceilinged, concrete walled hall like the A-Vehicle, your fans ears will ring for a month.

Great clip. But it was from 1970 not 80. The MC5 burned hot and fast from 1965 - 72. They played their last gig as the MC5 on Dec 31 1972. The clip was from a Detroit Public TV show called "Tube Works". "Kick Out the Jams" and "Looking at You" from this show are also posted on YouTube. Some of the best MC5 footage EVER! Love this band.
