Black Sabbath briefly enlisted Dave Walker to sing when Ozzy abruptly left in late 1977. Ozzy would return for "Never Say Die", but in the meantime, Sabbath did do one TV performance with Walker, singing an early version of "Junior's Eyes". Enjoy!

  • Does anyone have the video footage of Sabbath w/ Dave Walker on the BBC "Look Hear" show from 1-6-78? The video does exist. Been looking for it for years. Thanks

  • Magnificent song by Black Sabbath

Dave Walker is the good vocalist

  • @MyNiggaDose It's still killer, no matter what. I wish they had some more with Dave, as well as some recordings with the other Dave (Donato). That would be sweeeeeeeeeet..... I know there are Ray Gillan recordings available.

  • @coreeeey420 the lyrics are different because Walker, Geezer and Im assuming Tony wrote this; don't forget they thought Ozzy was gone at this point in time and they were working on a new album but, as we all know, Ozzy rejoined and refused to use ANY lyrics written with Walker. So Ozzy and Geezer mustve wrote the lyrics in a tribute for his father.

  • This would have changed EVERYTHING

  • @PutItAway101 Lol! That cracks me up! Good one!

  • @cudaj2 Except that Eddie Vedder eats chodes, and this guy's not too bad

  • @cudaj2 Also reminds me of Jeff Scott Soto's vocal style.

  • Prefer Ozzy version!

  • The Ozzy version has to be one of my all time favourites. Saying that I really dig this version as well.

  • I've never been a fan of Never Say Die but I think I would have loved it if Dave Walker sang on it. This version just rocks so hard. Too bad we'll never know what could have been.
