Building a shelter is necessary for having NPCs join and room with you who sell/buy things from you too. Unfortunately the cave I found hasn't been as rewarding as most other caves are. I assure the good times are about to come with this game ;)

@koojay1 the can be used to make mana, which can allow you to use weapons like the star guns, and use the mirror which brings you back yo your spawn point
