Improvising on some loops I arrranged from the construction kit song Transit Hold from Ableton Live Suite. I might even arrange this in a complete song the next few weeks. Quite happpy with the sound so far but if you got any tips you like to share please do.

The intro was played with an ebow. See ebow.com for more info. Amp used is a Blackstar HT-5 Combo miked with a Shure SM57 going into a E-MU 0404 USB sound-interface. Distortion pedal used is a Vox Satchurator with light gain. Echo used is a Vox Time Machine. Guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Deluxe.

  • did you record the bass yourself?

  • @drdreth No, this was a ready made loop I fiddled with. It's a sample (midi real instrument), but I am going to buy a bassguitar and replace it with a real bass. I like the sound of this bass though, it ain't bad at all.

  • younger gilmour ;) :DDD

  • @karaflodaimon69 Not that much younger, it's only 12 years :)

  • OMG I've been seeing the eBow for years but that's the first time I've ever seen anyone actually use it. Nice!

  • @HazardousSmoker HI, thanks for the comment, I got 2 more clips done with the ebow, feel free to check them out.

  • Great Playing . Great Sound . I'd like to hear some old school Chicago Blues with those gibsn buckers and that HT-5 . I'm thinking of purchasing the new HT-5R . Again , really nice sound ! ............ Jerry - AKA - HUTCHfromBA .

  • Like the Jazz Blues fusion you did a great job. Where did you get the backing track. You have a guilmour style.
