Official: Charges in Firefighter Ambush Slayings

State and federal authorities have charged a 24-year-old woman in connection with the guns used in the Christmas Eve ambush slaying of two volunteer firefighters responding to a house fire in upstate New York. (Dec. 28)

Dawn Nguyen was arrested. Spangler had in his possession her guns. Is it possible that Spangler stole the guns from his neighbor? Did Dawn Nguyen purchase the weapons to protect herself or was there a deal made between Spangler and Nguyen for the weapons? Was Spangler a persuasive person? Did Spangler use a threat to acquire the weapons? Did Nguyen know of the Spangler's dead sister? Was Nguyen frightned of Spangler as a neighbor?

Ok,perhaps Spengler may have been able to acquire a gun on the 'black market' but it doesn't make the young woman who purchased the gun (illegally) any less complicit.I don't believe she should get the death penalty as some have suggested,but she certainly ought to at least receive the sentence commensurate with this particular crime.

Once you leave a gun store you can sell the gun to anyone, If she lied when she bought the gun saying it was for her and than changed her mind after she would be a free woman today. Like in AZ the guy who bought the "fast and furious" guns did so legally and transfered them legally, No law was broken.
