"Repairs" Director: Marc Daniels, Writers: Sherwood Schwartz, Arthur Stander. Joan forgets to call to have the roof fixed, so during a rainstorm rain falls through a small hole in the bedroom ceiling. Brad demands Joan have the ceiling repaired with her own money. The cost of a repairman is $20. Joan decides to repair the ceiling herself, using only $1.00 of the $20. She buys plaster and uses the rest of the money for a "permanent" at the beauty salon. She does such a poor job and makes it so much worse that it becomes necessary for her to hire a repairman. She does a comedic collapse on the bed when she finds out he will now charge $119.50! In order to make the money, she rummages through the attic looking for things to sell. Among them, she finds a ratty old raccoon coat and a harp. Comic possibilities? Hmmm...
