What's a speed cap?

@akcog It's a pre-set number that determines the maximum speed the character can go.

@ClassicTeam so you mean if i turn it off, there will be no peelout animation when I reach maximum speed?

@akcog If you turn Speed Cap Off, Sonic's speed will continue to increase (as long as you can continue to increase it!) Also, The Spike Bug was a bug in the first Versions of Sonic 1 that would make you get hurt every time you hit spikes, regardless of you where already hurt or not. I highly recommend turning the bug off. Otherwise, you'll experience cheap deaths via spikes.
