  • Here are some more of Lincoln's own words:

"The Bible is not my book and Christianity is not my religion. I could never give assent to the long complicated statements of Christian dogma."

    May he rest in peace.

  • If religion is so important to Americans then why not make the pope president?

  • @KiddJesus Exactly! This mann is not a follower of Jesus Christ! Sorry I'm just now seeing this!! Ijs!!

  • @jmpwfnfhbo He's the President is actually legal to judge him! That's why!!

  • @anfenn Wrong religion :P

  • @frellthat His wife also practiced in mystisism. She held meetings with channellors/mediums, to communicate with her son that died at a young age. No wonder!

  • Now, I myself am a Christian, and do not agree with everything our president says, but who are you to judge him? Have you ever met him? Who are you to judge him? What if God judged you right now. You could be turning people away from Christianity by acting like the world in the way of judging... You outta be ashamed.... If you were a true Christian, you would accept the fact that Barack Obama is our president, and pray for him... I honestly can't believe some of you.

  • @anfenn Excellent comment!

  • This is the Barack Obama i voted for.

  • Obama is encouraging Compromise

  • I disagree with his views and satirization of the Bible. I agree with a separation of Church and state but the satirization of my religion to bring it "to par" with earthly deals is a bit much. The government has nothing to say about religion, nor do the people I feel have any need to oppose it. I'm not saying go to church, Im saying there is not anything wrong with following some of its basic ideals and there is no real need for conflict over the matter. I'm welcome to comments or suggestions!
