Why don't people in poverty have access to clean water? It is 2010 and it is about time that the UN and Governments across the world at least organize clean water supplies in countries where there still isn't access to it. It is a basic requirement for all human beings. In Haiti they said that 45% of Haitians did not have access to clean water BEFORE the quake and this is totally unacceptable. The UN and the US should lead the way in getting clean water to ALL countries of the world ASAP.
