testing the db's with the used planet audio torq tq1601d mono block 1200 rms at 1 ohm and 1600 watts peak amp which I purchased from ebay for a really good deal. i'm running my cadence triplex tx12-2 single 2 ohm subs off of this amp bridged at 1 ohm. need more battery power and a high output alternator though because it draining my battery voltage and causing a voltage drop on my volt meter. the voltage drop is about mid 11 volts or so. also when i play my subs at volume 68 or higher for longer than a 1/2 hour the amps get hot and shut down even with a built in cooling fan. i'm thinking that it may be due to not enough voltage to power the amp and causing the amps to strain to get enough power to run.
