Remix of an earlier video i made at the end of 2002 and Blue Dusk by Barry Brusseau. Made with photos from the family album and music performed by the Dixie Chicks. The song was Landslide but i was informed that my use of the Landslide song that the Dixie Chicks had remade of an earilier song writen by Stevie Nicks and performed by Fleetwood Mac was improper. And altough it was not for profit nor did it cast the song or current artist in any bad light I have replaced it with an approved song.
This song is Blue Dusk by Barry Brusseau. Thank you Barry for providing such a wonderful replacement.
If anyone is curious to see the original choreography then just mute the sound and cue up the song Landslide from the Dixie Chicks album Home.
As a side note i just discovered that Sheryl Crow has also made a remix of this song. Give me a break im not claiming authorship or trying to make money off of it. How silly indeed. Do they want paid everytime someone looks at my family pictures and listens to that song? Maybe i should get paid everytime someone turns on a light i installed or closes a door i put in. Im all for people getting paid for there work and receiving credit for the creation of such work(i.e.- authorship) but should there be a class of people that is perpetually paid for past creations or should everyone have to work for a living?
Ok ive grumbled enough and would like to end on a more grateful note and thank Barry Brusseau once again for the beautiful melody Blue Dusk.
