  • I used to like this song - please, Mr. Stratton listen to Jane's version or at least k.d. lang's to hear how it SHOULD be sung.

  • Interpretation is in the ears of the beholder.

Sorry you feel the way you do but I think Casey Stratton's version is SO beautiful.

I'm a fan of Jane Siberry too.

  • dude - train to become an operatic lyric tenor and make a fortune

  • brilliant rendition of one of Jane Siberry's most poignant songs! Well done Casey!

  • Lovely, thank you for singing and recording it

  • Casey - if you have, or ever develop, a taste for opera, you should seriously consider training your voice to sing as an operatic tenor. You have a natural head voice facility which many others spend years developing. you'd likely earn a bucket in opera theatres.

  • Whoa! How'd he get such a crazy high voice? Amazing, but I do think this song should be sung with a little more dynamics. He pretty much goes full on throughout.

  • great Tori Amos impersonation...

  • fantastic voice and great piano technique. i envy you, except for having to play in front of a bunch or rude, loud inconsiderate assholes who would rather talk than listen

  • k d lang's was on BBC Radio 4 today in a small feature called Inheritance Tracks. This is the song she said she would want to pass on to her loved ones. She described what the song was about and said she once sat by the Grand Canyon with her best friend as the sun was rising, with this song playing; both crying as they listened.

  • Beautiful voice and rendition!
