  • Does the odometer reset if you change the battery?

  • @bugnoy710 Yes it does. But there's a function you can use to set back to the distance clocked before you changed the battery.

  • can i program the total miles from my old computer to this one and can i also program actual tire size on it? Thanks.

  • @BigCatsWildlife With regards the to total miles travelled, I'm not sure if you can program it on this one. But for the tire size specific to your bike, you can actually set it. There is a list given which allows you to set according to your tire size. For mine, I'm using 26 x 2.1, so I set it at that size. If yours is x 2.3 or even x 1.65, you can select accordingly. As with most computers, actual distance travelled and distance reflected on the computer of course will never be the same.

  • does the battery last for long?

  • @nikospneuma1 Yes it does. I have read forums saying that the battery doesn't last for very long, some claims it lasts for only 4 months and the battery had to be changed because the signal from the wireless transmitter keep getting cut. As a result, it would not give an accurate reading. I'm here to testify that they probably just got a bad set. I've been using it for more than a year already and it has yet to show me the low battery sign. Mileage on the computer so far is 900.7km.

  • good VDO, I think we are neighbor country :)

  • ty for this

  • Thanks for the video mate!

  • @grgreko123 Thanks for your comment. It has a backlight but it does not stay on for more than 2-5 secs. The reason for this is simple: to save battery life considering it is a wireless system and for your safety so as to not distract you from looking at the road ahead. I do not think there is a system out there that has the feature you are looking for due to the aforesaid reason.
