If true and if I were Sabina I'd sue that doctor-and her coaches. They ruined a potentially brilliant career. At least she's gone on and is pursuing singing.

most likely because she didn't have high cholesterol. her coaches just wanted her to keep her weight low.

her liver problems were caused by the cholesterol-lowering drug Zocor and the related drug Lipobay. She was prescribed this medicine by the Romanian doctor, who said that she had high cholesterol.

Actually, there was more to it than that. The controversy was mainly due to the fact that she spoke out in the media about her couches after her retirement. She claimed that they were abusive. Gina Gogean came to their rescue and defended them.

In 2003 Sabina was forced into retirement due to a chronic liver problem. She was diagnosed with Hypercholesterolemia in 2000.
