i think you got that backwards. x pipes will make more power even tho it aint that noticable

i had a prochamber with flow original 40s on my mach 1. it sounded good but it just didn't cut it for me. i ended up swapping it out for an h pipe and liked the sound a lot more. the prochamber seemed to boost the midrange pull, but that was it. the h pipe on the other hand seemed to have given the low to mid ranges of the powerband more meat while the highend power honestly feels about the same as the prochamber. in my experience, it seems like the prochamber wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

with hp i really dont know. torque on the other hand, an h will almost always generate more.

Sound "classically" nice! Would love to hear it outside the garage and see those tips.
i think flowmasters sound the best with an o/r h-pipe...but just my opinion :)

to be honest with you I don't really know... I've always loved the sound of the original 40's

its the older one i think..i put it on in '05. i know for sure they are the "original 40s"
