Lakewood 2nd Gen P-223 Box Fan

Another thrift store find from a few weeks back. This one was in pretty good condition as it was, just a few broken slats on the front grill. The rear grill is just a little yellow, but no broken slats. This is the same fan my sister had years ago.

Nice fan! Yeah these 2nd gen P-223's are just everywhere on Youtube. Gotta love the quiet low speed these have! I may be getting one from professorkiwi. This one you have must be from 1983 since the blade still has the hole in the center of the hub yet the blade looks a kind of tan. Must have turned dark with age I guess.

Nice 2nd gen MetalAnchor. The color of the cabinet on this one is the same color as the cabinet on mine. Beige with a little bit of Peach.

I kind of know they do myself because locohog91 (Drew G at the forums) had a brown colored one at one time that had the tan blade with the hole in the center of the hub, but it was a little beat up so he gave it to a friend and now he has a brown P-223M with the usual tan bkade.

Its probably an early 1984. I have an '84 K-223 with a tan blade that has a hole in the hub. Pretty uncommon, but they do exist.
