wax or non :? im getting my dreds removed id has been about 9 months or 1 year i had them but i used wax sop i fucked up :S i will now get the crochet hooked :D NEVER USE WAX ON DREADS :S

cracker hair u need to research ur history playboy not just jamicans anf blacks are the only cultures for growin dreads its what hair does naturally for all races dont wash or brush it it will nap up n lock up have u seen cast away tom hanks is white salt water is the best thang for dreads he didnt brush or wash his hair n look he got dreads n hes white jus like i am n im bunked up too or put it this way y black women getten perms and getten there hair str8 hear us complaining bout that stfu!!!

A question: First of all, yours look awesome :) Mine are similar to the size and I've been having them for only about 2 months. Question: How do you deal with the 'roots' of the dreads? Are they a never ending piece of work or do they dread by themselves after a while?

dreadlocks are the natural state of your hair.Sadhus from hindhu cultures use dreadlocks as a natural stat of hair, they don´t comb it, they don´t care about the hair it just grows like that. It is spiritual to them because they want to be the most natural that is possible. if you don´t comb your hair for example you get natural dreadlocks. i think when you have dreads you must think about the spiritual thing about that. i stopped using needle and those sheets. now they grow natural.Good Luck!

how long does regular shampoo take like tress emme?

does using bakin soda make a huge difference in how long they take to form the dreads new to this anything you can tell me will help

@zeks14 noo dont get the crochet hook! if you are going to give them a jump start, twist and rip or backcomb....crochet hook is very damaging to locks
