Originally a VFX greenscreen/mattepainting project for the Utah State University 3d dept, it evolved into a trailer about an alternate future where ancient Rome never fell but instead rose up to become an inter-galactic power only to realize that their warrior spirit would be tested on the even playing ground of a harsh, hostile alien planet.
Hand drawn on paper, colored in photoshop, composed in after effects. Please excuse the missing scenes in the middle, they're temporary placeholders.
