Autumn Leaves

Jam over a drummerless trio backing on the iPad (iRealbook). I really dig Tal Farlow's 1950s work in this format, especially the stuff he did with Eddie Costa on piano and Vinnie Burke on bass. First rate hard swinging and exciting bebop. The way I like my jazz anyway. Tal has always been my main 1950s guitarist. Love that dude. I should have used my Tal Farlow on this one but I did not have it at hand in the forest lodge. But the 175 does a pretty good job too :)

Love the drummerless trio take! Brings to mind "The Swinging guitar..." and "Chromatic Palette" - two of my all time favourite jazz albums.

awesome playing, but the guitar track is FULL of clips, which takes away some serious amount of fun while listening, they appear literally every 2 seconds :( can you re-upload with reduced gain on the guitar?
