I have seven red bellys. They eat the second i put food in the water and have a very good diet of bananas, mice, fish, beef heat, crill, ect. And how is this sudistic? They eat live animals in the wild. Happy Piranahs require making there life as much like it would be in the wild. They do not eat pellets off the amazon river bottom. Also twice a day is way to much feeding.

@Trevspen121 OH i see wild piranhas eat animals.. Curious did you get your from the amazon? No u didnt huh.. so they arent wild...feeder fish contain parasites.. the pirnahas are in a tank three times the size now and have been.. there is a video of it.. piranhas are territorial and fin nip.. look it up resarch does wonders.. im sorry u dont have the info that i have researched but instead of saying lame like a child just ask why instead..

I have a 6 inch red belly piranha in a 4 foot long 80 gallon tank an i was thinking of getting two 3 inch red bellys would they be ok with the bigger piranha?

I have tried a few fish to live with them, mine live fine with zebra danios

dude u should get a pleco fvor cleaning you have got tomuch algea

dude ive don rechear and when piranah circl around in one spot to much it means displeasure and for 4 piranah at least a 80 tank would be okay but a 100 gallon tank is better

young ones- bloodworms juvenile- minnows adult- goldfish, yes, the store i got them from has 9 foot long piranhas in a huge tank and they feed them goldfish. that's recommended.
