Magicka - How to get Teleport Book in the beginning

I saw another video telling how to get the Teleport magic in the very beginning of the game and found a better way to do it. Use Shield, Arcane, and Lightning. Make sure you are far enough away from the tower that you go up and not into the tower otherwise you will just bounce off.

Note: Must have played multiplayer first. Not sure why but it changes your ability to get shot up to the tower.

Okay, I have the spells down, and I know I can't do it yet because I still have to do multiplayer, but even test launches utterly slaughter me, and midair healing doesn't seem to work. This is with the Reservioir robe (default stats) because Cyber robe has arcane weakness.

Is there some trick to healing that quickly, or a way to work in a shield spell to not be almost certainly chummed by the fall? Or does the damage formula just change after using multiplayer?

@Exccentrous1 No your fine. What happened is the damage has been increased in a patch. So mines will instantly kill you. Make sure you put a shield on yourself. Like an arcane shield or something like that. You have to do that or you will just die. Also fall damage has been increased. So if the initial explosion didn't kill you the fall probably will. Overall this got a lot harder to do.
